This book was a transformative read for me. It changed my life as a Father, Husband, and in my relationships in general. I related to the conversational voice the book was written in. My son graduated high school this year and I found it the perfect graduation gift for him and his friends - it speaks to anyone who is in a place of wanting more for their life.
I, too, loved this book. Its motivating purpose does just that; it motivates all the while leaving the reader with the comfort that he/she is not a loser but a winner. Kudos to Victoria!
Until You Win is a book of tools to enable your success in both your personal and professional life. Everyone from the age of 12 and up will grasp the lessons and enjoy the stories the author shares of personal experiences. A great book to give as a gift or share with your friends.
For the past 2 years Victoria has been a mentor and teacher to me, and you now have the opportunity to learn the key principles she teaches in her book! She lays out the very steps to building a life of success and significance. Easy to understand simple process in which she uses her own stories. Many of which we can all relate to! Colored with humor the book makes you turn the page and takes you through a journey of discovery into who you are, where you are going, and what it takes to get there...Enjoy it for yourself and then share this piece with your friends and family!
Until You Win makes you want to turn the page! I thoroughly enjoyed Victoria's style and insight. I highly recommend it!
I attended "A Day About Books" event hosted by my mentor, John Maxwell. He is the author of 75 books. One take away was when he said, "If the reader doesn't want to turn the page, they will put it down. Write your book in away that makes the reader want to turn the page." Victoria has done a masterful job with this principle. Actually, she leaves you wanting more pages at the end!! Great job Victoria!
I read this book when it was given as a gift to me. I was in a difficult place. I was looking for answers of what I could do to get into a better place. This book has been an answer to that question. I've now read it many times and each time I learn something new about myself. The first time I read the book I didn't do the worksheets ( there are links in the book for worksheets in the e-version - otherwise you can download them from the website mentioned in the book) the next time I read the book, I used the worksheets and the album of meditations suggested. The impact was so profound I found myself literally crying as I moved from chapter to chapter. This is my new go to book whenever I feel stuck.
Until You Win brings you a different perspective on what really means "to win" in life. This book is simple and straight while being meaningful and personal. Victoria won't give you a formula to succeed nor dictate what to do. She will simply hold your hand and guide you through her amazing perspective of life. It definitely changed my perspective of life and what "winning" means to me.
Until You Win is one of my favorites books and I'm sure it will be yours too.
